This original painting and collage emerged instinctively while processing the aftermath of a deeply personal relationship. It reflects the inward movement that follows emotional exhaustion: the instinct to withdraw, protect oneself, and make sense of what remains after giving too much.
At the heart of the figure, a personal object is embedded, marking both the weight of what was carried and the intimacy of what was lost. Rather than resisting heartbreak, the work lingers in the act of acknowledging it. It allows pain to exist without immediately trying to repair or overcome it.
The piece explores the tension between collapse and resilience, capturing the quiet moment of turning inward before strength can return. It is a reflection on vulnerability, self-preservation, and the courage it takes to face what has been left behind.Because this is an original art piece, returns or exchanges are generally not accepted unless the art piece arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
